Secure and robust communication links.Strong resilience against jamming and interferences.GeneralEPM waveform is the key feature to establish a secure and robust communication link, especially when your system is wide open to threats and unexpected interferences. SDR Modem implements frequency hopping EPM waveform which has strong resiliency against jamming. Frequency hopping in wide IF band is TRANSEC dependent and control messages in the network are NETSEC protected. DSP and FPGA based implementation of modem makes firmware upgrade easy. Operation of modem is easily managed, configured and monitored through a user friendly web interface. Up to 6 communication channels can be installed in a single modem box.
InterfacesModem has interfaces listed below per channel.
Control and MonitoringUser friendly web interface enables to set up and control all of the modem features as well as monitoring run time parameters of each communication unit. Other than hard control, soft control of ESM and EMCON is also available via the web interface. Time reference is accepted through GPS (automatically) or web interface (manually).
Network & System IntegrationCentralized network management controlled by a controller modem enables the EPM featured mesh network, providing orthogonal frequency division multiplexed channels among communicating modems. Auto-synchronization feature allows modem to be synchronized with the network automatically. The modem can be used as a communication unit or network controller modem. A communication network can be established with multi transponders and multi coverage spots. TRANSEC/NETSECNATO or any National TRANSEC/NETSEC Algorithm can be easily installed upon request. Each channel has its own embedded TRANSEC/NETSEC unit. Mechanical
EPM Modem fits in an 8U Rack where up to 6 identical hot swappable communication units (channels) can be placed inside. Control of modem box physical features such as heat, power and
